Our 17th century venue is perfect for a personal and intimate wedding ceremony and reception, of which you would have exclusive use of The Wellington Suite and Reception Room along with our beautiful courtyard area and accommodation. We also offer the option of hiring The Black Horse bar area and restaurant to have exclusive use of our venue throughout the day. To make organising your wedding as stress free as possible we have put together a couple of offers and packages that can be amended to suit your requirements. Our team understand the individuality every couple brings, and that’s why each wedding is treated as completely bespoke.

Ceremonies
Bert’s Rooms & Events Venue is fully licensed to hold your wedding ceremony, partnership, or renewal of vows. The maximum we can accommodate for a ceremony would be 60 guests and a minimum of 15. If you would prefer a church ceremony, we have two churches less than two miles away!
Drinks Reception
Following the ceremony, drinks can be served to your guests in the courtyard or reception room, allowing time for your photographer to capture your special day. Our recently refurbished reception room is the perfect space for your guests to enjoy a singer or musician!
Wedding Breakfast
Our Head Chef and his highly qualified team have designed the menu for you to choose from which changes seasonally and takes advantage of locally sourced produce. If a sit-down meal isn’t your style, we can provide a buffet or canape options for you to enjoy. Any dietary requirements or intolerances can be accommodated.
Evening Reception
You can celebrate here with up to a maximum of 100 guests. Dance the night away with our DJ, a singer or background music. Your chosen buffet will be provided and the bar will be open until 12am.
Stay Over
Our bridal suite ‘The Epernay Room’ has a double shower and jacuzzi bath. We have 12 en suite bedrooms we reserve for your guests should they wish to stay over, so you can all enjoy breakfast together the following morning.
